Our Policies

PAYMENTS:


Currently we accept credit cards, e-checks and bank transfer payments through secure PayPal checkout.  We hope to be able to offer other payment options in the near future.  If you do not have a PayPal account, sign up for one, it is free to sign up and is a secure payment method.
Product Availability:


The items are available on a First Come First Serve basis.  We cannot guarantee availability of all items continously.  As our products are handcrafted, each has it's unique characteristics or limited availability of materials.  We will do our very best to maintain our inventory in a current status, however, this may not always be possible.   Should you purchase an item that has sold out since our last inventory update, we will contact you via email and offer a substitute to you if one is available or issue a refund.  We will contact you via the email address associated with the PayPal payment.
Shipping and Handling:

Your order will be processed within 2 -3 business days of purchase and tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with the paypal pament.

We ship via USPS Priority mail except small items which can be shipped First Class mail.

We do not ship Internationally.  If you are outside the United States, please contact us prior to ordering.

Returns and Refunds:



Our Return/Refund Policy is very limited due to the unique nature of the products themselves.  As our items are handcrafted using natural materials whenever possible, there may be minor variations, flaws or imperfections.


Soaps and bath products cannot be returned/refunded due to the personal nature of the products.   


Items lost or damaged in shipping will be refundable/returnable only under those reasons covered by shipping insurance provided on items shipped via the USPS Priority Shipping policies.  Any such claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of your purchase.


Live Birds:


We DO NOT ship live birds.  All live birds MUST be picked up at the respective Farm.  Any questions regarding birds for sale need to be directed to the individual lister prior to purchasing birds from our site, you may use the convenient contact button on the Farm Sales page.

Once you purchase live birds, you must arrange pick up with the respective farm within 3 days of purchase.  Failure to arrange pick up within 3 days of purchase will result in purchase being canceled.  If your purchase is canceled for failing to arrange pick up, 50% of the purchase price will be forfeit and the remaining 50% will be refunded to the email address associated with the paypal payment.

Live birds and hatching eggs are 'first come first serve', we do not hold birds beyond the initial 3 days following payment.

We cannot guarantee longevity of any live birds, we can only guarantee the birds to be healthy and in the condition stated in the ad at the time of listing.  As these are live animals, accidents can happen and should something happen to any bird purchased on this site, prior to pick up, you will be notified and a replacement will be offered if a replacement is available.  In the event we cannot replace the bird, we will offer a refund on that bird.

We are not responsible for the bird once the bird has been picked up and left our premises.  Any losses or injuries occurring after pick up are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Hatching Eggs:


We cannot guarantee hatch rate or fertility of any hatching eggs.  Once we ship the eggs, we are no longer liable for their condition and safe keeping.  Shipping eggs does affect hatch rates and we can only guarantee that the eggs were laid from hens who are in a confined area with a virile rooster.
