The first ever cabbage from the Chicken Asylum on the Hill has been cut and processed. The bulk will become a scrumptious cabbage relish, some is shredded and frozen and tonight, we had fried cabbage with ham for supper. Ah, so good! Rhubarb has become stewed rhubarb, ready to pour over ice cream or add zing to a berry cobbler. We are on the way to a successful gardening year.
